when everything turns into transactions... is there still meaning within?

"you give me what i want, i'll give you what you want."

when has 'giving' and 'taking' turned into transactions... when has truly giving become an act to ask or hope for sth in return... its not wrong to hope... everyone has selfish tots... but it depends.. works differently on different issues...

never expected something like this... or rather, it's the "how could such thing ever happen" kinda thing... it sucks... and why is it happening to me... was i too simple-minded? or plain stupid.. but i chose to believe... n i wan to hang on to my faith... i've never felt like we're so different before...

i'm glad the honesty played a part.. but i cant deny... disappointment takes up the bigger pie... it wasn't supposed to be this way... at least, i never tot it would turn out this way... i need to calm down.. i need to think thru...
