ok a new blogskin at last!
finally something new to look at.. a fresh and bright beginning at least... so does it imply a fresh start and mentalities ahead? wait and see.. =)
aniwae, back from batam finally.. ask me if it was fun.. haiz... i tink the onli thing i enjoyed was the nights back in hotel.. other than that: nope. its reali quite an ulu island... their roads, or shd i call them tracks, are like bouncy and crooked and i dunno wat... hmm and guess wat time i had my lunches everyday.. 3pm!!! they totally forgot about us.. if not, they probably have a misconception that singaporeans eat late lunches.. was super starving...
For the first day in the client's place, 8-9 hours of office work, i practically onli used 3 hours fruitfully... the rest of the time? --> waiting waiting sleeping waiting.. yes u didn't see wrongly. its sleeping.. i totally had nothing to do! the documents took soooo long to arrive.. and i was a lil' sleepy... don't be mistaken k.. not VERY tired.. but a bit only... and since i had nth else to do, just folded my arms on the table and ZZzzz. Lunch that day? CHICKEN RICE... i thought the manager was going to bring us out to eat some sumptuous lunch or sth... chicken rice. nvm.
Second day, i got myself prepared! brought potato chips!! this time, haha. my senior and i decided to go to the canteen ourselves for lunch... but out of courtesy, we thought we should inform the manager.. so i dropped by at her door, asked if she want to join us for lunch.. she shockly said "oh! we asked someone to go buy for you already... sorry ar they are coming back soon.. " oh mi goodness... packed lunch again... finally, saw two boxes on the table at the lunch area.. nicely packed, not bad.. hmm --> SALTED FISH FRIED RICE... =(((( its super salty la...
Third day... best.. they bought lunch liao and they didn't even inform us that the lunch has arrived... as usual we waited until 3pm... my senior coincidentally walked past the lunch area and saw two lunch boxes... he came back telling me, perhaps that's our lunch.. perhaps.. and yes, after confirmation, tats OUR lunch...ma ma.... they are sooo best..
ok in conclusion, i guess the culture there is sooo different.. every thing is slow... yes they are detailed.. but on the expense of time... so... u can call them effective, but not efficient. =0 and great, i'm going again next month.
kkz spent so much time lookin at the com.. abit giddy.. gonna continue later.. i watch vcd! =)
miss my colleagues soo much... and dardar .. oh dardar went kota tingi with weiqing and weiting.. hmmm wanted to go acty.. but a bit too late.. haha.. nvm hope he enjoyed himself!! =)
