- tuition thoughts -
was still complaining and whining about the number of tuition trips i have to make and the level of fatigue which i've already hit... but after today's tuition, somehow have the urge to continue tutoring them..
guess what? started with little tricia, and as soon as she brought her books in and settled down, she took the comprehension book which she used to hate the most and started flipping it! then, she said, "today i want to do comprehension.. " i was totally shocked! of course happy... she just added, "cuz i'm not good at it.. so must practice.." wow.. i was so touched.. she finally learnt it! i've been telling her times and times, giving those hoo0-haa advices and words of wisdom, explaining the rationale behind all the stuff.. but she simply showed me long and black faces... i'm so glad that she's suddenly so 上进... =)) hope to help her do well in her exams..
as for little mr. stanley, he's even more cock.. he talked non-stop, that he's not even doing the work i asked him to do... but i'm quite glad about the major topic we discussed.. further education.. he asked me about what are the educaton paths after primary school.. and that he strived to go raffles institution and raffles junior college.. so i asked him, but do u know where it is? i doubt it is near.. he said confidently.. " at raffles place la!!!" *collapse* but this young fellow does have a bright future ahead and i'm glad he realised it... so start studying ok!!! and you know what, he offered me a bar of kinda bueno! the new one.. which i had never seen before... he was telling me about kinda bueno having a new flavour, and i initially thought he was kidding me! he then went out to take one bar of it... and passed it to me... after careful examination, i returned him, and he said it was for me... awww how sweet.. but, after 7 months of tuition, i doubt he's ever so nice to me... (ok i'm being mean..) so i just teased him about it and said stuff like are u going to make me eat, den tell your mum dat i ate ur choc!!! or u purposely bring in knowing i will reject the offer so u can eat right..... hahaha.. bad horz.. but aniwae, i asked him to eat and he said he has sore throat, besides his mummy doesn't let him eat so much chocs... haha but i cont teasing la.. until he said...." give you chocolate, so that you can have sore throat, then you no need to come for tuition...*grin*" omigod... such a
smart kid.. aniwae, whn i finally want to eat, i double cfm if he wants me to eat, den he said, " hmm u take half, i take half..." see! i knew he wanted to eat it... hahahah
aniwae, just felt it was quite funny, for the first time, we're quite 打成一片... =D
although its tiring, felt that as long as they are willing to help themselves,, i dun mind going down.. initially it didn't started off very well.. cuz they din seem very interested in it.. makes me super sian diao oso having to think that i'm forking out precious time to tutor them.. but at least now, i felt my efforts not gone to waste.. after 7 months of nagging, at least sth's going in.. ha..
but! whn i was about to leave, demoralising issues popped up... they are having CAs on monday to thursday, which means, i have to go down every day from sunday to tutor them!!! so that wouuld be sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday straight! ooooomigodddddddd... i totally forgot about it... was already on the verge of dying from all the readings and backlogs and coming projects... and now? the kids still look super excited over it... oh no.... =( tell me how...
kkz got seminar and lecture tml and i have 4 chapters to read.. dead. so dead..
