Our golden month-sary today! the 14th month on the 14th. hee. a once-in-a-life time thingy.. next one would be the golden anniversary. wait another 14years haha.
today, we met up at outram (the most central point between my house and kc's house). took to raffles place to see doctor cuz of my broken and terribly painful lips. den travelled to vivo city for lunch, den to bugis to window-shop and finally to dhoby ghaut!
so kc commented, from hougang, he took NEL to outram, den took EWL to raffles place, den took NEL to harbour front, den took EWL to bugis. fun horz? wow. miya thinks: our train fare 'machiam' free.. haha.
aniwae, i realised marche was quite a good place to eat! cuz we actuali ordered nicey food to eat, and ate fulll full.. and each of us onli cost up to ard 12 bucks! VALUE FOR MONEY!
next up, brought kc to iluma to walk walk. the first time both of us were there.. wow its reali spacious and big. and most imptly, kc was soooo amazed by the bigg bigg arcade.. but good thing is it's spacious, enough space to breathe and walk.. haha cant stand super crowded places.. whn we crossed to iluma, we used the pedestrian crossing further up, between fish and co and this fashion across. den walk backwards to iluma. we were still commenting how dangerous it was and how 'oh my goodness' it is to cross at bugis street. you should know, at any point of time, there's the passage way between the two-way traffic is totally filled with people. i repeat, its TOTALLY. my goodness, ppl are like crossing and trying to squeeze up the pavement so that whn the traffic lights turn green, the cars wouldn't knock them dwn for occupying the roads.. but its reali dangerous! and the reason both directions to and fro bugis street being so choked up, cuz there's so much space occupied by people going one side, while people coming out has onli like a single-file lane to walk and squeeze out of the crowd. so while people chiong to cross to the middle segment, they hafta walk single-laned to get out of the middle segment to the other side of the road.. haiz. its quite true what we discussed. its onli when someone reali gets knocked dwn before 'somebody' will do something abt it.
okies back to iluma, i managed to 'grab' a pair of earphones at $9.80!! muahahah so happy.. my best bargain for the day.. been searching for a pair of normal earphones (without those plugged all the way in - kind) that is cheap cheap... cuz kc's getting them.. so i was looking for the cheapest! haha all were ranged more than 16bucks.. those good ones were like, 29.90 ++? aniwae, i managed to find a 14bucks one! and the shop has 30% storewide discount! woohoo! BUY!
he wanted to buy me the Sony mp3 player headset, the same one that xuan has.. since he feels its quite useful for me whn i go jogging.. hahaha but he has no choice but to save up that money cuz.... , we went to the shop and try it out, n guess what, the earphones are those inward-plugged type. i duno how to wear/use.. hahaha.. good for u! save money for u leh.. hahah =D
oh no.. one more day to the end of my 2-weeks leave.. here comes the peak.. and guess u guys won't b able to see me so soon.. let's hope work is still at peace despite the many 'tremors' and 'surprises' i've heard abt..
okies, with savings from the potential walkman player, we are nw aiming at our new handphones upcoming! long story for that one yea.. so that one, another time ba..
